Foodapest has been the most important exhibition and meeting place of Hungarian and international food industry for a long time. Both companies which have a history in Hungary and those which would like to introduce their products here are welcome in the Hungexpo, the exhibition hall of the Budapest International Trade Fair from 21st to 24th February. Most of the visitors of the fair are usually professionals, but there are exciting programs for those who would like to learn about Hungarian and international gastronomy and are interested in its accompanying events. This year a prestigious chef competition, the Bocuse D’Or is organized in Hungary for the first time, where young chefs compete with each other for two days. The final of the Junior Confectioner’s World Championship is also part of the programs.
